Augstsprieguma tīkls AS is a company that cares about the quality of environment in which we live. Employees of the company are aware of their share in the results of the team work and every day the work is done in the manner that is as much as possible environmentally friendly. Also, improved and clean environment helps to carry out the daily work better.
On 29 and 30 November 2005 Augstsprieguma tīkls AS was recertified and the environmental management system was maintained pursuant to the ISO 14001. The company ensures the compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Latvia, which shows tendency that the number of requirements and terms and conditions is still growing in the sector of environmental protection. Impact on the environment caused by the company is reduced by introduced and certified environmental management system via annual environmental management programmes, for which aims and criteria are set to reduce the impact on environment.
Environmental protection work of Augstsprieguma tīkls AS is organized by the Division of Quality Systems that is working in close cooperation with company’s structural units in order to improve their performance regarding the environmental protection.
